“ During a recent storm a very large limb broke off a fifty year old silver maple tree in my yard. I decided I should have someone from a tree service take a look at this tree to determine if the tree needed to be cut down because I didn't want to risk the whole tree coming down during the next storm or worse yet coming down when it might cause someone injury. A family member referred me to Family Roots. I called them and Derek McMillen came out in a short amount of time and he examined the tree and told me that the trunk was rotting from ants. I asked him to look at another silver maple I had in my yard and the same thing was happening to that tree. I asked him for an estimate to cut down both trees. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and they were able to get me on their schedule within a couple of weeks. I have had tree services cut down trees for me in the past where they actually took advantage of me.
